MEET THE COACHES

Palmyra Black Knights Hockey Director

Antoine Bergeron

Antoine Bergeron is entering his 6th year as the Palmyra Black Knights Hockey Director and the Director of Player & Coaching Development on the PBK Leadership Team.

Antoine is a native of Valcourt, Quebec. He was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in 2000 and played professionally in the ECHL with the Reading Royals and Trenton Titans. Antoine played his Junior career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) which is regarded as one of the premier professional development leagues in North America.

After his professional playing days, Antoine lead local youth programs in both Reading and Lancaster. Most recently, Antoine served 8 years as the hockey director for the Lancaster County Youth Amateur Hockey League (Lancaster Firebirds). Antoine grew that program tremendously over those 8 years into a highly respected program known for developing players, coaches, and families.

Antoine saw the position at KLA/PBK as a huge opportunity at a successful hockey program and at a fantastic 3-pad ice rink with a wonderful sports complex surrounding it. In 2018, Antoine added AAA to PBK by entering in the USPHL (Untied States Premier Hockey League). In 2019 KLA added a 3rd ice sheet!
